The Dispatch Coordinator manages each technician’s daily calendar and schedules tickets for future work, which includes:
- Planning and adjusting technician schedules to ensure proper coverage at client sites
- Assigning tickets based on technical skills and proximity to the client to reduce drive time
- Communicating regularly with customers via phone and email with sensitivity and empathy
- Conversing with technicians to optimize their daily schedule
Successful candidates will:
- Be detail-oriented and understand the requirements of scheduling and excellent documentation.
- Absorb and retain information quickly
- Possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and have a customer service mindset.
- Work well both individually and on a team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic IT terminology preferred.
